Buyers, why choose Marea Investment?

Marea Investment understands the difficult task of finding a home or real estate investment in a foreign country. We also know how pervasive all the misinformation that exists when it comes to a property’s pricing and availability. We urge our clients to interview other real estate companies and ask about their professional experience, work history, and relationships in the area. Ask about any ongoing education, designations, or licenses and training they have in real estate. Ultimately, ask why they or their company should represent you when purchasing real estate.

Marea Invesment’s has designated buyers-agents. We work for the buyers for free and get paid by sellers and developers. This allows for clear and objective advice throughout the research and buying process. Marea Invesment is also a independent brokerage so we can show our buying clients any and all properties.

You only need one real estate professional from Marea Invesment to show you any and all properties. Our team will stay with you from start to finish and explain the entire transaction, advise on any unclear issues, and to always look after your interests. As a buyer’s agent, we have a fiduciary responsibility to you and only you, the buyer.

Please contact us or let us know when might be a convenient time to contact you. It is important for us to speak to all prospective clients in order to better understand how we can better serve you.

Buying Process

Yes, you can own property in Mexico! Join the millions of people from the U.S., Canada, and rest of the world that have decided to make Mexico their home.

Owning property in Mexico is easier and safer than ever. There are clearly established and well defined rules regarding non-Mexicans owning land in Mexico. These rules were put in place to protect your ownership rights and to promote the sale of real estate to foreign investors without having to change the Mexican Constitution. The most commonly used method is a safe, established, and perpetually renewable Mexican Property Trust called a “Fideicomiso”. If you are investing in several properties your other option would be to buy property through a Mexican corporation that you can set up very quickly. This is very similar to setting up a LLC in the U.S. and can be completed in a few short days.
